Quality Cobot is a control station equipped with a collaborative robot created by Project Service to revolutionise quality control tasks by automating and digitising the processing of sampling a product to be checked.
What does it consist of?
The Quality Cobot control station is equipped with a collaborative robot (called “cobot”) as well as equipment required for quality control testing (e.g. camera, scale, etc.).
All equipment is mounted on a fixed bench or push trolley to be positioned alongside the product conveyor belt.
How does Quality Cobot work?
Quality Cobot is a robotised control station that uses a collaborative robot and specific sensors to automatically sample products from the production line and carry out the necessary quality controls. The system is capable of:
- Identifying the product: It recognises the product to be controlled based on information from the production line.
- Carrying out testing: It performs the necessary tests (weight, dimensions, packaging integrity, etc.) with the utmost precision.
- Generating detailed reports: It creates automated reports with the results of the controls performed.
- Interacting with the production line: It sends signals to the line in the event of non-conformity.
